Where is it located?

We are in Hamnøy, in the heart of Lofoten – right by the water, surrounded by some of the most iconic scenery in Norway.

When will it open?

Opening 1st of June 2026

Is it only for tourists?

Not at all. Fiskemottaket is a community space for both locals and visitors – a place to enjoy good food, live music, and cultural events year-round.

Can I book for groups or events?

Yes. We welcome private events, group dinners, and special occasions. Contact us for booking details.

What kind of food will you have?

From the freshest local fish and seafood to wood-fired pizza, proper tacos, hearty soups, vegan and gluten-free dishes, and tempting desserts. Everything is made by chefs who care about quality and flavor.

What kind of events will you host?

Live music nights, cultural storytelling, cooking workshops, quiz evenings, art exhibitions, and seasonal celebrations. We’re building a space where food meets culture.

What makes Fiskemottaket special?

Will there be indoor seating?

Yes ! You can enjoy the atmosphere and views no matter the weather.
