Fish, chips, and good vibes – dropping back in June 2025!

the story behind the best fish and chips of the lofoten islands

Ahoy there! We’re Ulrik and Maria, two sailors who’ve spent years navigating Norway’s breathtaking coastline, hosting ski and sail adventures, and sharing our love for the sea. But one thing we noticed (and not just fishy things! 🐟)—there weren’t enough customers for our summer sailing trips. While Lofoten is a paradise, most people still seem to prefer the Mediterranean when the sun comes out.

So, in 2024, we decided to get creative. If people weren’t coming to us for sailing, we’d bring them something they couldn’t resist—seriously good fish and chips! We launched our food truck, combining Ulrik’s Norwegian roots, Maria’s Colombian spark, and our passion for food and connection. Because really, what brings people together better than a hot plate of crispy fish and golden Norwegian potatoes?

But this isn’t just about food—it’s about regenerative tourism. We’re committed to sourcing seafood sustainably, Saying no to single-use plastic and making sure our ventures give back to the land and communities that welcome us. Whether we’re sailing, skiing, or frying up something delicious, we want to leave Lofoten even better than we found it.

So whether you’re fresh off a boat, road-tripping through the Arctic, or just hungry for a taste of Lofoten, swing by and say hi! We’d love to share a meal, a story, and maybe even a little sailing inspiration.
